Calculation of collisionhyphen;induced transition rates between rotational levels of NH3

The method for calculating collisionhyphen;induced transition rates presented in an earlier paper has been applied to fourhyphen;level systems in the ammonia molecule. The transition rates in pure NH3and in NH3perturbed by H2, D2, HD, parahyphen;H2, N2, and O2are calculated. The intensity changes (Dgr;Isol;I) are derived from these rates and compared with the experimental values.
