Singapore's MPA to ensure compliance and availability for IMO 2020

Quah Ley Hoon,CEO of the Maritime and Port Audiority(MPA)of Singapore,said the agency is planning a smooth transition to the 0.5-sulfur marine fuels that will be mandatory as of Jan.1,2020.The MPA has been taldng steps to ensure supplies of compliant marine fuels will be adequate,and it plans to update die technical guidelines for bunkers(published in Nov.)at the port when it publishes a list of IMO-2020-compkant marine fuels by June.
