摘要

A cross-bred male kid exhibiting congenital deformity of legs was examined physically, clinically, radiologically and cytogenetically. Hind legs of the kids were shorter in length in comparison to the fore-legs. Further, the right hind leg was shorterthan the left one. Skeletal development in both the hind legs was incomplete and asymmetrical. There was no musculoskeletal development beyond tar sals in the right leg and beyond metarsals in the left leg. The physical observations were confirmed by radiographs of both the hind legs. Hooves were rudiomentary structures attached loosely with the epidermis. The kid exhibited a giraffe like standing posture. Chromosome preparations with Giemsa staining, and C-and - R banding showed 60, X Ycomplement which resembled with a normal complement.
