Influence of lime on effectiveness of different org anic manures in rearing indian major carp spawn

摘要

Enumeration of lime on effectiveness of different manures revealed that lime in combination with organic manures created more productive water than single application. The survival rate of major carp spawn ranged from 49 to 76% as compared to 25% in control water when lime (1,125 kg/ hectare) in combination with organic manures (40 kg/hectare) was applied.
