MANAGEMENT OF POSTPARTUM UTERINE EVERSION IN A SHE GOAT- A CASE REPORT

This study reports a case of postpartum uterine prolapse and its successful clinical management in nondescript doe goat.Uterine prolapse is a common postpartum complication observed more commonly in cows and ewes and less commonly in does (Sahadev et al, 2014). The uterine prolapse in goats may be complete with both the horns protruding out from vulva or may be limited touterine body (Noakes et al, 2009). The present clinical article deals with a case of complete post partum uterine prolapsed and its successful therapeutic-management in a goat.
