摘要

In this research, polystyrene/poly(ethylene glycol) core-shell fibers were prepared by directly electrospinning blending solutions with a single needle. The effect of polymer concentration and polystyrene/poly(ethylene glycol) ratio on the fiber morphology and diameter were studied. The formation of core-shell structures was found to depend on the phase separation properties of the polystyrene/poly(ethylene glycol) blends. In addition, a poly(styrene-b-ethylene glycol) compatibilizer was synthesized through atom-transfer radical-polymerization (ATRP) methods. The effect of this compatibilizer on the morphology of the polystyrene/poly(ethylene glycol) fibers was also investigated.
