Dedekind-finite acts over monoids

Cancellation problems form a classic part of the theory of modules. There are several variations on the notion of cancellation, one of them being that of Dedekind-finiteness. In this manuscript, we introduce and study the notion of Dedekind-finiteness for act over monoids.
