A feed mixture containing kosum (Schleichera oleosa), karanj (Pongamia pinnata) and niger (Guizotia abyssinica) cakes, sal seed (Shorea robusta) meal and poultry manure (UFIM) was incorporated at different levels 0-100% in a standard concentrate mixture. DM and protein degradability of the diets were estimated using the nylon bag technique in 2 fistulated buffaloes. Mean DM degradability differed (P<0.01) between the diets, the lowest in 100% UFIM (26.97+-4.70%) and the highest in 0% (47.40+-6.59%) UFIM incorporation. Protein degradability also differed between diets (P<0.01), the lowest in 100% UFIM (35.12+-3.40%) and the highest in 0% (50.89+-5.77%) incorporation. There was a significant increase in DM and protein degradability, with increase in incubation time.
