An increasing number of people have had several computers each of which is used for a specific purpose. It is easy for them to get contents through the Internet and to make copies of the contents. Many companies including contents holders, equipments manufactures and communication service providers are concerned about these circumstances, because the copyrights of the contents could be violated. However, from the user's point of view, it is desirable for him to use the content freely in his own environment as he does now. Copyright protection is very important, but at the same time the user's convenience is also important. In this paper, we make a brief survey of the above-mentioned issue, and then propose a system, which introduces a combination of charging mechanism and copyright protection mechanism for certification and the user's convenience.
