Replacement rate was calculated on 1007 Tharparker progenies born between 1984 -97. The least squares means for replacement rate A (on the basis of total pregnancies ) B (Proportion of female calves reaching milking herd ), Sex ratio, Mortality and culling rate among the famel calves upto age of first calving were 12.71 +- 1.18,25.65 +- 2.29,50.59 +-2.07,14.08+-1.91 and 60.28+- 2.80 percent respectively. Replacement rate A& B and culling rate percent were significantly affected by the year. However season of calving did not affect any of the traits studied.
