Sheet forming on fourdrinier machines depends on various factors. Stock preparation and approach flow are optimized for each paper grade thoroughly. Breast roll shaking devices and dewatering elements are designed and adjusted accordingly for a reliable formation. In order to provide even more optimization potential, the TURBOWaver~(TM) has been developed. With the TURBOWaver~(TM) a new concept is presented to improve paper properties on the fourdrinier section due to the use of ultra sonic technology. First test results are presented.
