摘要

Two new substituted-bis(naphthyl) methane "capped" 1,2,3-riazole-inked calix4 arene receptors have been synthesized and characterized. Their binding properties toward different biologically relevant metal ions were studied by fluorescence spectroscopy titrations and (HNMR)-H-1 spectroscopy. The fluorescence spectral changes show that are sensitive and selective for Fe3+ ions and the binding modes have been confirmed based upon both the (HNMR)-H-1 and DFT studies.
