A short note on the discipline of Clinical Pharmacology

Last month's biennial meeting of the European Association of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (EACPT) in Edinburgh, UK, provided a powerful sign of vitality of the discipline of Clinical Pharmacology (CP) in Europe [EACPT 2009]. Despite recent discussions about the position and the branding of the discipline of CP in a modern context of extreme specialization and molecular medicine it appears that CP is still able to attract a substantial number of talents.
