Effect of Laser on Skin - A Review

摘要

The objective of this study was to investigate the impact of laser irradiation on human skin. Different types of Laser with their important terminology used for skin therapy has been reported Energy, power, spot size etc, are the important parametersfor laser application. These have been clearly discussed. A brief introduction about different types of laser has been reported. The effect on skin with the variation of skin depth and wavelength has been reviewed and shown. The percentage absorption ofdifferent UV wavelength in different depth of skin have been represented. The mathematical modelling of bio heat transfer also has been discussed here.
