Aramco to license ROSE unit

The Saudi state energy firm will license US EPC firm KBR,Inc.'s three-product ROSE~R(Residuum Oil Supercritical Extraction)solvent deasphalting(SDA)technology for a new SDA unit being built as part of its residue upgrading and clean fuels project at the Riyadh refinery in Saudi Arabia.Under the terms of the contract,KBR will provide a three-product ROSE technology license,basic engineering design,and proprietary equipment.
