Air Products, Praxair to provide additional H2 for Valero refineries.

According to a June'6 press release, Air Products will supply an additional 200MM scf/d of hydrogen for Valero Energy's 310K-b/d Port Arthur, Texas and 250K-b/d Norco, Louisiana refineries in the US. As part of the agreement, Air Products will construct a world-scale steam methane reformer (SMR) at Norco that would start up in H2 2013. The SMR would be connected to Air Products's Gulf Coast hydrogen pipeline network, which supplies H2 to a number of regional refinery and petrochemical sites.
