Laserhyphen;induced fluorescence of the C2H5O radical

摘要

Laserhyphen;excitation and laserhyphen;induced fluorescence spectra of the C2H5O radical are reported. The 0ndash;0 band of the quest;ndash;quest; transition lies at 29thinsp;204 cmminus;1(342.4 nm). The spectra are characterized by a prominent progression involving the Cndash;O stretching mode, as in the case of the CH3O radical. The fundamental Cndash;O stretching frequencies in the ground and excited states are 1067 and 596 cmminus;1, respectively.
