US retail gasoline prices continued to climb,up for the 11th straight week,but the increase was not nearly as steep as was seen in recent weeks.According to the US Energy Information Administration(EIA),the national average retail price for regular gasoline was $2.841/gal on April 22,a 1.3¢/gal uptick from the April 15 price and the highest since Oct.2018.The Gulf Coast region's $2.535/gal was the lowest price for gasoline,while San Francisco,California's $3.958/gal was the highest price.Also,RFG's national average trekked upward 4.5(2/gal to $3.097/gal.The Gulf Coast region and the state of Texas shared the lowest price of $2.576/gal for RFG,while the highest was San Francisco,CA's $3.958/gal.
