摘要

Bioassays were carried out by using the ethonolic leaf extract of solanum nigrum and bacillus thuringiensis individually as well as in combinations to the IV instar mosquito larvae. Both the extracts were found to cause mortality of the larvae effectively. However the two extracts in combination with each other caused more toxicity than the individual substances. Therefore it is inferred that both the plant and biocide extracts could be combined and used in large scale vector control programmes.
