Polarization and dielectric constant of SrTiO3glass ceramics at low temperatures

Peaks observed in the temperature dependence of the dielectric constant of SrTiO3glass ceramics do not appear in the dc polarization. A remanent polarization is observed between 4 and 77 K. The dielectric properties at low temperature are attributed to the relaxation of permanent dipoles to an electret state rather than to antiferroelectric ordering.
