STUDY ON INFLUENCING FACTORS ON POLLEN CALLUS AND ADVENTITIOUS BUD INDUCTION IN ANTHER CULTURE OF POPULUS SIMONIIxPOPULUS NIGRA
An efficient in vitro pollen callus induction and adventitious bud differentiation system was established in Populus simoniixPopulus nigra. Factors influencing culture efficiency, including plant growth regulators, source of callus, temperature, light conditions, and low temperature storage period of anthers were investigated. The relationship between each other is studied. The results show that successive dark and 25°C were best for promoting pollen callus induction (87.4), bud differentiation frequency of pollen callus was highest (72.5).
