Spinhyphen;polarized secondary electrons for nondestructive magnetic depth profiling

摘要

The spin polarization of true secondary electrons is shown to provide an efficient surface magnetometer with the unique feature of a tunable probing depth up to 10ndash;20 Aring;. The relation between polarization and magnetization profiles as well as the polarization spectra is discussed.
