Neptune Terminals-Enclosed Transport of Bulk Materials

A new berth is under construction at Neptune Bulk Terminals (Canada) Ltd. in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This new dedicated outbound facility, specifically designed to handle a variety of fragile agricultural products includes a new berth, a railmounted shiploader, a curved 'Pipe Conveyor' and an interface to the existing system.A 'Pipe Conveyor' is basically a belt conveyor where the belt is formed into a pipe shape. The unit being installed at Neptune Bulk Terminals uses an 1850 mm wide belt that will form into a 500 mm pipe shape with a sealing overlap of approximately 1/3 of the belt width.
