Vejstrup, Denmark - In 2003 Svendborg Brakes successfully commissioned one of three intelligent belt conveyor disc brake systems for the Pirris Hydroelectric Power Development Project in Costa Rica. The brake system was supplied to the company Diseno de Maquinas Industrials S. A. de C. V. (DIMISA) for their three belt conveyors and DIMISA decided to use the SOBO intelligent brake control systems from Svendborg Brakes because of its user friendly design and attractive cost.
