404 Army Corps Permit; No End in Sight

The Sacramento District of the Army Corps of Engineers released the long-awaited General Permit #46, providing blanket authorization forsuction dredge mining under certain conditions. The General Permit (GP), issued May 2, 1995, and effective until May 2, 2000, was mailed to the 2300 individuals and clubs who submitted §404 applications prior to the August 1994 deadline.
