A totally new design of weighbridge from Avery Berkel offers higher strength, greater reliability and simpler installation than conventional systems, cutting the cost of weighbridge ownership. The BridgeMont weighbridge is based on Weigh Bar technology, proven to be 10 times more reliable than conventional load cells, and has an innovative box construction. It is supplied as factory assembled modules, which are easier to manoeuvre and require only simple foundations and bolt-down installation. It can even be installed in one day in restricted areas, such as under hoppers and inside buildings.Weighing accuracy and reliability is provided by Weigh Bars with a failure rate of just 0.3 per cent. They are unaffected by the end, side and torque conditions which can impair the accuracy and life of load cells and absorb braking and acceleration loads without the need for mechanical movement constraints.
