Quintain Estates has put a large part of its ￡2.5bn Wembley regeneration scheme on hold, writes Dan Stewart. Architects on the Northern Lands scheme have been told to stop work ahead of meetings next week that will decide which elements of the scheme will go ahead, and when. Design work on the masterplan, which will cover 4 million ft~2 around Wembley stadium, and various residential blocks has been frozen while Quintain reviews the scheme. One architect on the project said: "Quintain is doing a complete review. I think it's looking at different ways of carving it up, but nobody's told us exactly what is happening. We're in limbo at the moment."
