March throughput in China up on the year,but down from Jan.-Feb.record

The National Bureau of Statistics released data on April 17 showing that Chinese refiners processed 53.04MM mt(12.5MM b/d)of crude in March-a 3.2 year-on-year increase but a 1.5 decrease from the nearly 12.7MM b/d that was processed on average in Jan.-Feb.Refinery runs in 1Q averaged 4.4 higher on the year at 155.37MM mt(12.6MM b/d).
