摘要

The Arndash;NCCN van der Waals complex has been studied by molecular beam radiofrequency and microwave spectroscopy. The complex isTshaped havingC2vequilibrium geometry. The Ar to NCCN distance is 3.58(1) Aring; and the zero point bending amplitude is specified by ggr;av=arcthinsp;coscos2ggr;gsim;1/2=5.0(2)deg;. This is analyzed to give 30 cmminus;1for the van der Waals bending frequency. Nitrogen quadrupole coupling for the isolated cyanogen molecule is minus;4.611(2) MHz. The dipole moment of the complex is 0.0979(1) D.
