On site filtration and subsurface disposal of domestic sewage

摘要

An on site sewage treatment and disposal system, consisting of a septic tank, a gravel and a sand filter, and soil absorption trenches operated alternatively, has been experimentally evaluated to determine its treatment efficiency and the decrease in sewage transmitability of the filters and soil.
