Masshyphen;spectral study of CF3I and C3F7I photolysis

摘要

A masshyphen;spectrometric method for study of the photodissociation of alkyl iodides is developed. It permits the observation of iodine atom concentrations both in the ground and in electronicallyhyphen;excited states. The rate constant of iodine quenching in molecular oxygen is obtained. The relative yields of 5thinsp;2P1/2iodine in the photolysis of CF3I andnhyphen;C3F7I are compared.
