This research note reports a procedure offering considerable time saving for the determination of theobromine inT. cacao, C acuminataandC arabicaThe procedure incorporates the Wadsworth extraction technique, gradient elution partition chromatography and quantitative estimation of theobromine spectrophotometrically.
