Semiclassical Transition Probabilities (SMatrix) of Vibrationalmdash;Translational Energy Transfer

摘要

Uniformized coordinates and an integral expression for the semiclassicalSmatrix, derived elsewhere, are described and applied to vibrational transition probabilities. The expression obeys microscopic reversibility. The numerical results are compared with the exact quantum mechanical results of Secrest and Johnson.
