Diffraction pattern and structure of molten BeF2sngbnd;LiF solutions

Xhyphen;ray diffraction data on the liquid systems (BeF2)x(LiF)(1minus;x), withxequals; 1, 1sol;2, 1sol;3, 1sol;5, and 0, are presented and analyzed to yield average nearesthyphen;neighbor distances and coordination numbers. The values obtained for the melts are in good agreement with results derived from molecular dynamics calculations.
