摘要

The 8th Asian Pacific Poultry Conference was held in Bangkok, Thailand just before VIV Asia. In this review of the conference we focus on some of the papers presented that were particularly pertinent to those involved with breeders and hatcheries around the world. This study was undertaken to assess the impact of slow/rapid feathering sex linked gene on weight, carcase yield and carcase main parts in an experimental broiler flock by evaluating the response to selection for breast and thigh weights with restrictions imposed against low value portions of the carcase over three generations.
