Titrimetric Determination of Trace Amount of Selenium and Tellurium with Methyl Thymol Blue

摘要

Selenium and Tellurium have been successfully estimated in dilute solution using photometric and amperometric titration technique. Methyl Thymol Blue is one of the important sulphothalein dye generally used as an indicator and a reagent for spectrophotometric estimation of metals " . In the present study MTB is used as amperometric titrant for determination of trace amount of Se and Te. Hindrance due to many cations and anions has been investigated.
