摘要

The theory of the thermomagnetic torque due to Levi, McCourt, and Beenakker has been used to assess the relative magnitudes and field dependences of the torque contributions due to the second derivative dyad of temperature and to thermal creep. In the case of nitric oxide the latter is found to be responsible for approximately 25percnt;minus;50percnt; of the total torque.
