As Ireland's economy continues to boom, the Celtic tiger is finding it is growing faster than its skin. There are skills shortages a'plenty in every market, not just in the sectors that demand highly skilled professionals. Walk down any street in Ireland and pubs, shops and clubs will be advertising vacancies that seem to be filled by foreign exchange students because Irish people looking for a job are few and far between. Stories of astronomical salaries abound, particularly in the IT sector, and while house prices are rocketing out of people's reach we are constantly told we've never had it so good.
