A great deal of effort has been made to construct efficient quantum error-correcting codes. Various code constructions have been proposed on the assumption that quantum errors occur independently. In this paper, we show some results of a computer search for quantum burst-error-correcting codes which can be constructed from classical cyclic codes of length 30 or less with burst-error-correcting ability.
