摘要

Ferro cement is a hybrid material which can be used as alternates for various structural elements in Civil Engineering construction. The properties of Ferrocement can be improved by laminating with Fibre reinforced plastics (FRP). In this paper several combination of Ferrocement slabs are laminated with FRP and tested for deflection under flexure. The parameters considered are namely deflection, number of cracks and crack spacing. The results of these parameters are graphically represented. The results shows that the new composite is superior when compared to other conventional building materials. This material is also an important material for repair and rehabilitation of structures.
