摘要

The traps of the service economy related to the very nature of non-material services is the major reason for the rise of a mass consumption society, which is very advantageous for service providers and results in increasing dependence of the society, both financial and psychological, on the service sector. "Consumption for consumption's sake"-is the main slogan of service consumers who put their interests first even when this might have serious consequences for the environment. A challenge for the state in this respect is to make the process of consumption more rational and less harmful for natural resources and the environment.
