D2ndash;D2total scattering cross sections in the velocity range 950ndash;2250 m/sec

摘要

Measurements of the D2ndash;D2total scattering cross section are reported over the range 950ndash;2250 m/sec in relative speed. The data were fit with a piecewise continuous potential constrained to give the correct theoretical behavior for large intermolecular separations. This potential also gives a satisfactory fit to experimental diffusion coefficients.
