摘要

A global constraint is derived for ternary phase diagrams at constant pressure and temperature. This constraint rules out certain diagrams with rotating tie lines. The inverse problem for phase diagrams is stated. It consists in proving, for a given phase diagram which obeys the known constraints, that a free energy functionfthinsp; exists which generates just this phase diagram.
