摘要

We describe a new format of fast and simple qualitative enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The method combines rapid (visual) detection of the result and a low limit of detection for use as a non-laboratory screening test. This yeso assay was used for detecting zearalenone (ZEA) mycotoxin, which is a common primary contaminant of crops. The transition from equilibrium to kinetic mode of the assay was analyzed in detail and the stage durations and reactant concentrations were determined. The developed analytical kit allows a 12-min non-laboratory assay of ZEA with a visual limit of detection of 200 ng/g, which corresponds to the EU standards for foodstuffs.
