Performance of A Small Capacity Steam Turbine

摘要

The present paper deals with the performance of a steam turbine 6kW capacity which is designed and developed in the laboratory. With this turbine electrical power is generated and it will fulfill the requirement of small farm. Further the turbine is run by using the steam from the boiler available in the laboratory. The test results of the turbine are included in the paper. It is planned to run the turbine using the steam from solar system.
