摘要

Mobile commerce which is commonly known as m-commerce provides value added services to customers and also generates new market opportunities. However the technology develops, security in m-commerce is still a challenging aspect. In this paper a biometric based authentication model along with secure PIN is being proposed. M-identity is the technology to combine the mobile device identity into biometric images. Only the valid users whose biometric information is stored in the mobile device can access the device through m-identity authentication. In this paper, fingerprint biometric is been demonstrated as an example to show its application on secure m-commerce application.
