Biological and chorological survey of the Sicilian Flora

摘要

The authors present a synthesis of the multiple floristic aspects of the Sicilian district. After considering the state of floristic knowledge of the territory, a study is made of the geoclimatic characteristics and the biological and chorological aspects of the flora are treated at length. The complete list of the endemic contigent is presented#x2014;compiled on the basis ofFlora d'ltaliaby PIGNATTI (in press)#x2014;which in turn is divided in accordance with the regional floristic subdivision of GIACOMINI (1958).
