Measurements of the absorption spectra of some solutions in the form of a lowhyphen;temperature glass have been made. The absorption band arising from the interaction between oxygen and methylcyclohexane has been found to increase at low temperature. The remarkable enhancement of the benzene ``MR'' series appearing between theB2ubands upon addition of carbon tetrachloride, as found by J. Ham, has been confirmed, but the intensity falls down largely at a higher temperature.
