摘要

Ever since the days of the Model T and the Hupmobile, there has always been a need for technicians to work on them. Most of those technicians were trained in some capacity by their family and friends in the backyard or in the garage. Or maybe, they had an old clunker to experiment on. Some were fortunate enough to get their hands on a tech manual or go to work for a dealer where they could actually get a little formal training. But one thing is for sure, there always was and always will be a need for somebody who can work on these dinosaurs. Years ago it wasn't hard to raise the hood and diagnose cooling system issues. After all, there were few components to consider. There were low-pressure cooling systems that were easy to work on. The radiators were massive. There was actually room to work under the hood. There were few, if any, electronics to consider. Air conditioning and automatic transmissions were far from standard equipment. If the system held water, and had little restriction, and a little airflow, it would most likely perform.
