Compressibilities and limiting internal pressures from the Tammannndash;Tait empirical equation of state

The Tammannndash;Tait empirical equation of state lsqb;Z. Phys. Chem.17, 620 (1985)rsqb; is deduced from the thermodynamic equation of state, and compressibilities derived using the former equation are compared with those obtained using rawP,V,T, data fornhyphen;pentadecane. The agreement is in the range of 8percnt;ndash;15percnt; and is not improved when the pressure is raised up to 3thinsp;100 bars.
